Forever ago I made a trip to our local Habitat for Humanity store and picked up a few project pieces, then we had about a million snow storms and the furniture sat.
This past weekend it was so dang nice out that I finally got started on making over this $5 table I picked up!
This table was legit meant to be in my home. We have had no table by our doorway and we were in desperate need of one and I cannot believe that no one else picked this up before I got there.
The paint job before looked like it was done by a child, but some white primer and new paint was all it took. I used the same color spray paint as I had on my auction find wicker chair.
I also took the cardboard looking table tops off and cut out pieces of plywood to match, stained them and added them to the tops.
And, whala! I now have a new side table for the entryway! I decorated it with a Goodwill lamp I had to snatch up, and a few extra accessories I had lying around. Now I’m just on the hunt for a small rug to set in front for dirty shoes. You also can sneak a peek at my finally completed entryway flooring.
Have you had any great thrift store finds lately?

Awesome! Love the pop of color with the Teal. [My favorite color in the whole wide world] I need to get a few things like this and re-do them. Our poor house is so bare is re-donk! Thanks for the inspiration.

Teal is one of my fav colors, too! Our house is pretty bare, too, but if I keep going to thrift stores like I have been we will be crowded with stuff!
