Slightly Spooky Halloween Front Porch
Ghouls and goblins and witches, oh my! Halloween is almost here ya’ll! This year is our first Halloween in our new house and I was so excited to decorate for my second favorite holiday!
Last year I decorated our rental home’s front porch with similar decor but I was pretty limited on what I could do since it was a duplex and we shared a front porch with our neighbors.
After Halloween last year I went to our Dollar Store and picked up a lot of random decor pieces, including the little plastic ghosts that line our sidewalk.
Last year I glittered the inside of a Jack-o-lantern and made my ‘Boo’ sign as well and I am so glad I did because they are still so cute!
The giant mum plant was only $5 at our local Farm and Home store and I had to stop myself from buying one in each color!
All of the other items I used were items that I had used in my fall front porch tour a few weeks ago and can’t wait to use them as a base for my Christmas front porch, not that I am counting down to when it is appropriate to start decorating for Christmas or anything….
I’m so excited for our first Halloween in this house, I’m planning some yummy treats for our trick or treaters and I also can’t wait for the after holiday decor sales so next year I can decorate more!
Once I get a few more things straightened up inside, I’ll be sharing my pumpkin-y home fall tour! I can’t wait to show how much my house has changed since we first moved in in December!

This is super cute and pretty inviting! I’ll be decorating my place tonight! We used to get tons of trick or treaters but once my grandmother became ill she wasn’t able to answer the door. Now that my I’m living in her old home I want to get trick or treaters coming back! The dollar store is a great idea I’m so going to check that out first!
Thanks fo rposting
