The sun is shining, the windows are open, and we’re cooking out a LOT more lately and that means I’m finally going to tackle my back patio!
This place has been neglected like nobody’s business, and I’m so ashamed of myself. I mean, look at it.
Lucky for me, my friends over at Kirkland’s are having a great sale on outdoor furniture and decor, and I knew I had to stalk their site for inspiration!

I’m currently undecided on what colors I want the curtains to be, or if I’ll have them at all (just another thing to clean!) but I think they’d help for privacy to hang on the side of the patio that faces the driveway (and the garbage can!) and help frame in the bar I am going to try to build in on the opposite side.
I’m also searching Pinterest for some outdoor table plans so I can put my Kreg Jig to use! These are my two current favorites (click photo to go to source):
Normally I’m more of a “neutral with a pop of color” gal, but I really want this outdoor area to be bright and fun, so I may have gone overboard on the color choices so far. What do you think? Too much color or not enough?
