No, the news is not that I am preggers- that is not in my schedule as of yet! The big news is…….
*drumroll*
I BOUGHT A HOUSE!
Ok, so some of you might not be surprised since I kind of leaked the big news on my Instagram earlier. Whoops. I can’t keep my big mouth shut.
So unfortunately, I’m crashing at my parents house while I wait to close, which means everything is in boxes right now- including my crafting supplies. All of this means that you might see a few less projects around here while I wait to close, but I promise I won’t forget about you guys! 😉
Ok, enough of my rambling, I’m sure all you guys care about is a bit of a tour, well here it is!
*These photos were from the online listing of the home, so please excuse the low quality resolution. I was way to excited about the house and forgot to take pictures!
My first big project in this house is taking care of that terrible faux brick wall in the kitchen. You can’t tell in the photos but that grout is a deep purple-grey! GROSS!
And I will for sure be building a kitchen table for this house!
And I am imagining an amazing gallery wall for the living room, and am already planning my holiday decorations for the big bay window and for outside. And I’m, well I’m just sooooo excited you guys!
Once we move in and are settled, I will give you guys a full tour, decorated and all (and hopefully decorated for the holidays!)

Congratulations Kristina! That is great! Was it hard to decide on? We are currently looking for a home and are having the hardest time deciding what it is we actually want. Owell…

It wasn’t very hard for me to decide on this particular house. To be honest, I didn’t even want to see this house to begin with because it was out of my price range. But I am so glad my realtor convinced me to!
When house hunting, I just narrowed my search by what I must have (3 bedrooms, storage, big kitchen, fenced in backyard, garage, new appliances), then filtered the houses in my price range by comparing each of them to what they had in addition to what I needed (big bay windows, landscaping done, few updates needed, dining area, etc)
Good luck!
