When I started ridding our home of harsh chemicals and started to live more naturally I started focusing on lavender essential oil.
The Premium Starter Kit from Young Living (the only oils I trust to use for my family and home!) includes 10 amazing oils, and lavender is one of them! The kit is the best deal in town, plus I save 24% off each item I buy which means I can afford even more oils!
There are so many uses for lavender (lavender has over 200 chemical components, which is why it has so many uses!) that I couldn’t gather even half of them here, but these give you an amazing idea of how versatile this oil is, hence the nickname of “The Swiss Army Knife of Oils”.
- Add some drops to your vacuum canister to make vacuuming your home smell much more pleasant.
- Simply diffuse for a fresh and clean scent.
- Make your own relaxing linen spray by doing 1 part witch hazel to 1 part water with a few drops of lavender oil.

Hi KyLee!
Yes, I do use lavender for almost all of these uses! The only ones I haven’t used it for yet are the recipes I’m still working on making (shaving cream and lip balm)
It is one of my favorite oils in the kit and I use it everyday
This list is so useful! Thanks for sharing at Merry Monday, hope to see you again next week!

I love the smell of lavender! I just got some, and I’m going to try adding it to my sugar/coconut oil scrub recipe. Seems like the perfect combo. Nice to meet you on Merry Monday, and heading over to follow on IG…

Ahh yes, lavender is also great with sugar scrubs! It is such an amazing scent that goes with everything. Thanks for coming by and following me on IG!
You know I never liked the smell of lavender (I always thought it smelled like antiseptic with some sad floral overlay) until I got my hands on a good quality lavender. Also, diffusing it makes it a much lighter scent. Now I use it for, and in, just about everything!
