Guys! It is finally done! This little room reno took wayyyy too long, but it’s finally completed and I couldn’t be happier with it. It took over a month to finish the details and get it looking right, and now that it is all done, I enjoyed it for about 30 minutes then promptly took down all of the decor I chose and replaced it with the Christmas decor I saved for the bedroom!
Without further ado, here is the reno! (Check out the inspiration post behind the entire renovation here)
The shiplap wall was suprisingly easy to put up and I love how vibrant it is and how it draws so much attention to the back wall.
I love our lighting choices, the little bedside pendant lights look so cute, and that chandelier is still my favorite thing on the planet. Shop the look here.
The curtains are simply 9’x6′ drop cloths that I clipped onto these curtain clips and hung on a forged iron curtain rod that Cyle made. Yes, you read that right! My hubby MADE this curtain rod out of solid iron and also made some gorgeous little curtain pull backs. His skills are undeniable!
The barn door is such a beautiful piece and was super affordable to put up. While it was a pain since we didn’t have studs that lined up exactly with the bolts, and the door was too tall and needed cut, and that the wall war warped (yeah, we had problems) I love it and would 100% recommend the kit we got to hang the door.
And there it is! I love the entire look and I still am in shock at the before and after look!
