Just recently we had our living room remodeled (see the reason why we had the update here, and check out the new look over here) and our bathroom also got a touch of an update while the guys were at the house (since apparently water just spreads EVERYWHERE when it gets into your house- who knew!).
Currently, we’ve got the old flooring still in there, which I’m fine with- although it is 100% not our taste at all- but we’ve not considered getting it updated since it is such a little space, and since we are getting a new tub sometime (and tiling the wall behind it) but now, I’ve been at least dreaming of getting some beautiful tile in there to add more of the farmhouse and classic style we (ok, mostly me) love.
For a frame of reference, the walls are a light grey, and the vanity is a navy blue now.
Since it is such a small space, I really want to go for patterned/shaped tile with some neutral color.
I’m really leaning towards the penny hexagon tile more than the others, since I also love a good craftsman style home. But come on, that basket weave? Totally gorgeous.
While we haven’t 100% decided on if we are going to tile the floor, and what tile we would use if we did, I do know that we’d use a medium grey grout, because mama ain’t about to scrub clean white dingy grout constantly.
